Every production project requires numerous details to be considered. For your convenience, we’ve prepared a list of things not to forget.
Depending on the project you are shooting you may think about different background options: white or black cyclorama, green screen, LED wall, or some specific interior. The white cyclorama is the most universal. It’s good for personal photoshoots, headshots, product shooting, interviews, etc. Green Screen or LED Wall are for creating a specific background with effects and are good options for music and dance videos.
Natural or artificial lights? Do you need point lighters, softboxes, or light reflectors? Depending on your request our team can suggest the best lighting option and help to adjust the lights.
Think of creating the most relevant atmosphere while shooting. Right music playlist: relaxing or energizing will contribute to the best result.
Content creation needs a lot of work behind the scenes. Make sure that the studio you are renting provides enough space for preparation and rest between the cuts. Cosmos Studios has a make-up room and a spacious green room.
Shooting day may be long and always requires energy. Think of snacks or catering for your team in advance. Our kitchenette and lounge zone can accommodate that and provide clients with coffee/ tea, water, and utensils.
Make sure that you’ve booked enough time for setting up before shooting and dissembling after. Studios are usually not charging a full rental price for that. Check our options before renting!
Shoot day is a working day, so a production studio should be a little office at the same time. A studio without a strong internet connection can turn a project into a catastrophe. For example, during a content creation process, the team needs references or project concept, which is usually sent via email. It’s crucial to have everything handy. Without the internet, everyone’s work is suspended in one way or the other.
We value our customers’ work and provide them with unlimited wi-fi access.
LA’s parking is a nightmare! We know it. Finding a parking or loading spot is exhausting and you don’t want to waste time on that before a long shooting day. Our studio has gated private parking for 18 cars and can accommodate 26ft. truck. In addition, all our shooting space is on the first floor, so you don’t need to carry your inventory upstairs or try to fit in the elevator.
